Cinnamon
insoles from Sri Lanka |
Strong
cotton shoe insoles filled with a small amount of ground cinnamon
which gives both a lovely subtle scent and apparently has antibacterial
properties. The cinnamon is slightly absorbent and to keep the insoles
in top condition remove them every week or so overnight. |

This
stuff is incredible - a deeply spicy and invigorating scent of black
pepper with notes of vanilla and a mysterious musky depth - almost
good enough to eat! It's not cheap but as a previously fully confirmed
Radox user, i'm now a total convert. The gel is very concentrated
so the bottle lasts ages representing really good value, plus the
fantastic scent lasts all day. It also seems to be equally popular
with women who love the spicy but not too masculine scent - don't
leave it lying around the bathroom as it may start disappearing! |

Cassia has
historically been used in both religious ceremony and perfumes
and the powerful, sweet and warm scent is really appealing.

In
Thailand the wonderful scent of Kaffir limes is highly valued and
often used as perfumes. This handwash is concentrated and has a
fantastic fresh zesty scent. |

Spices
has historically been used for much more than just cooking, they've been
important in medicine, religious ceremony, as currency, aphrodisiacs and
also of course in cosmetics and perfumes.
