and hot flavours are a regular feature in many Asian cusines
and work really well together. This sugar has a very gentle
level of heat but just enough to make itself known.
uses:
Sprinkle
generously over cut pieces of fruit such as pineapple or mango
and place under a pre-heated grill or barbeque until the sugar
just starts to caramelise. Serve with a spoonful of natural
yoghurt. Spoon the sugar over a fruit salad with a squeeze
of lime juice for a refreshing contrast of flavours. |
