Cayenne
has become known as the name for a generic medium-heat finely
ground chilli powder, often made with a blend of different
chillies. The convenience of this powder and the range of
applications makes it an essential ingredient in any kitchen.
Cayenne adds heat but little of the pungent chilli flavour
and scent found in other chilli powders.

Add a pinch to sauces, salsa or marinades. Cayenne can be
