The blend is far stronger and more pungent than mixed spice
as it lacks the milder sweet spices such as coriander and
cassia, but adds a distinct spiciness, colour and a dark and
mysterious depth of flavour.

Add a pinch to cakes - particularly dark fruitcakes, biscuits
